试菜~Food Tasting For My Wedding Banquet~ 15.12.2013

Most relax and enjoyable moment of the wedding preparation is ~

Food Tasting~

Select from the menu and wait from the day will do ~ HeeHee~

Held my wedding @ Mandarin Oriental Singapore
Very no regret to select them~
I am in Love with them~~~

Our names are printed to direct guest to the correct ballroom as there are lots of couple having food tasting and there is wedding banquet going on too ~

Entrance to the private room that is only for our family ~

It is decorated to the theme that we choose for our actual wedding day~
Love Ivory is the theme i think~ wahaha~

The Centre Piece~

Table Settings ~

Feedback form !
We really put in lots of effort to write~
Writing down the taste and feel after EACH DISH~
and luckily we did ~
The chef came out to discuss with us and ask us hows the food and what need to be change~

Cold Dish~
Salad Prawn - Jelly Fish - Seafood Roll - Roasted Meat - Drunken Chicken
Everything is nice except the drunken chicken which don't suit our taste~ wahah

Chicken Broth Soup

It will be served this way [1 pot] to guest even on the wedding day~

Duck~

Juicy and soft~
The sauce of the duck is a little too thick and sweet during food tasting~
Scallop with Yam Ball~

Some Selfie Along the Way~
Sis + Dad~

Cod Fish~
Some people might think, it is Not nice as no head no tail [Chinese traditional]
But the guest will get to eat the meat and no need to be messy with the bone and skin??

Sis + MaMA~

Big Serving~

Chill Crab With Fried Mantou~
The mantou is not enough for me ?
Wahaha~
Cos only 2~
Hardly see any crabmeat~
When we feedback~ The chef generously say he will add more meat~

Ending off with ~
Dessert~
Hazelnut Royal...

No feedback on this~
Cos its good~

Wanted to change to Yam Paste as we worried the elderly may not like it~
But Mr Lee grandma is ok with it, so we left it unchanged~
Luckily we didn't change~
