HoneyMoon 03.03.2014 to 14.03.2014 - Korea - Jeju - Seoul - High1 - Ski Resort - Day 4

The only day we manage to wake up to the hotel breakfast~

Luckily we did not wake up early for the pass 2 days, as the breakfast is not impressive~

These are the items on the breakfast buffet~

The only nice food is ORANGE JUICE~

Actually the food is not bad, it does not taste awful just too limited selection~

HeeHee~ 

Prepare to check out after the breakfast~

After breakfast, we head to can rental office to return the car~

Yes~ Today is last day @ Jeju-do~

I cant wait to return the car ~ Is super tiring and stressful driving there~

Maybe is me, as i was really frighten by the bad weather condition and not clear of the long driving destination and the unclear of floor marking~

But renting of car is still encourage as is much more easier to drive around which you take control of your own timing~ 

Leaving all your stuff on the car and no need to carry around~

This trip we tumbler along with us~ We filled it with hot water and left it in the car~

We get to drink it when we get on the car as the temperature outside the car is freezing~

Rental car office~

Didnt get to see it when we collected the car as it is too dark~

After you return the car, there will be a shuttle bus to bring you back to airport~!

Felt really relieve when I have return the car without any damage~

*phew*

Jeju International Airport~

Saw this cover with snow mountain when we alight from the shutter bus~

The cleaner cleaning the pathway told us, it is HallaSan~

I think the hallasan is trying to tell us to visit it 1 day~

After we have checked in, there are still some time left~

So we try out Paris Baguette~

This is our 1st time having Paris Baguette~

We never try PB in any country before~

2:35Pm we reached Gimbo Domestic Airport~

We are not staying in Seoul yet~

Booked a Ski Resort~ High1~

The journey is 4hrs~

*Vomit*

Never do research properly, we missed the bus TaeBaek to HIGH 1 Resort~

:(

Next bus was 4pm~

We though of going to the resort via Train but was advice not to~

So we seat and waited at the airport~

It SNOW while we are traveling up~

The silly Oppa Lee still tell me is DIRT~

After 3.5 hrs of bus ride~

We finally reached the Taebaek bus stop~

Need to take a short taxi ride of 10 mins~

Presenting you the room of High 1 convention hotel~

Queen Size Bed~

It will be great if is a king size bed~

Spacious Toilet~

Hand Soap~

Bathtub~

Safe in a drawer~

The food selection in the resort that we stayed, is very pricy~

It is already 8pm.

So we selected the most worth option which is the BUFFET~

Having buffet for dinner at different country is a experience also~

wahaha~

The selection of the buffet is wide~

They have spaghetti, sashi, kimchi with pork, sushi and etc~

This buffet cost us about $66 per pax SGD~

Highlight of the day came after dinner~

WooHoo~

ITs SNOWING~~~~

We felt damn lucky~

This is our 1st time visiting Korea~

Our 1st time going to a country which is so cold~

(Usually we go taiwan or hongkong.. not that cold)

This is also our 1st trip as husband and wife~

Our 1st time see SNOW~~~

WAhaha~

Cars covered by snow~

Stairs and floor covered by snow too ~

We was not prepared for the snow, so we wore very minimum~

Oppa Lee is afraid of cold~ he suggest that we return to room, add more clothing and come down again~

Luckily he suggested and willing to go out door again~

So I can spent more time playing with snow~

2 scurf to keep us warm~

Going back to room~

WE played almost 1hr in the snow~

Busy taking pictures and etc~

Till Oppa Lee cannot take it anymore as he claims that he cant feel his leg anymore~

While we were on the way back to the room, we came across this big TV / Many TVscreen~

It shows the temperature and it is interactive~

Touch the screen and all the fish will swim to you~ waha~

It also allow you to take a picture and post facebook~

wahaha~

But i think we are too impatient~

While we are trying to take picture and post facebook, we hand the program and all the TV shut down~

WAhahaha

We quickly head back to our room~ wahaha~

Next morning, we saw technician came to repair and restart the program

Sunny 3rd Day~

Totally different weather from the previous day~

Same like previous day, we missed the breakfast~

HeeHee~

Waste no time and quickly start our journey~

The route lead by the GPS was really beautiful~

The car door Flew open when I just open it slightly~

I was so worried that it might just flew off~

After 1+ hr of driving [cos we stopped too many times to take pictures~]

We reached ~

Haenyeo Museum ~

Female Divers ~

The female divers can dive into the ocean without any help of diving equipment to source for seafood~

The seafood they catch will be sold for money which generate income for them~

Their life depends a lot on the sea~

Guess what is this building?

Its their toilet~ Outside the museum~

If i never remember it wrongly its 1100 won~

Saw this statement and with the information on the wall, I really felt life of the female divers is really hard~

The family depends on them~

This Haenyeo Museum is definitely worth visiting~

Interesting information but feeling a little upset to know that the divers need to work so hard~

The museum was not big, we completed within 1hr~

Quickly head for the next destination as we spent too much time taking photos on our way there~

THou we wasted so much time taking photos~

Once we left the museum, we stopped again to take pic~

It tried to fly towards the sea but it is stuck at the position for long time~

The strong wind made the bird "fly" on the spot~

Finally Reached ~~

Seongsan llchulbong~

A great place for catching sun rise and trekking~

We gave the trekking and sun rise a missed in order not to tired ourself~

The drive from hotel required 1.5hrs, 40 mins to 1hrs required to reached the mountain top which means I need to start the journey at abt 2+am~

Super not recommend for self driving and during honeymoon~

We were still deciding whether to do the trekking a not ~

We were really hungry when we reached, there are a small shops selling korea local snacks / small bites~

Wait no more, we quickly buy some to cure our empty stomach~

Tender meat and the marination is really good~

This fried chicken is not nice, Do not buy it~

It taste worst then the 끌닭Kkul-Dak in Singapore

Thinking that we might do the trekking after the small bites, as Oppa Lee likes such activties~

But I am wrong, we decided to try out the seafood stew and head to other destination~

Selected this restaurant just opposite Seongsan llchulbong~

Walk down the slope of the carpark, it is the 2nd shop on the right~

We order a set menu for 2 pax~

Its abt $100 Sing Dollar~

A little expensive for a lunch~

The 이모of the restaurant is very nice~

She not only recommend us which set meal to take, but also help us to cut up the shell seafood so that we can eat it easily and also remove some of the seafood meat from the shell for us~

After the very filling meal, we walk around the area of Seongsan llchulbong~

No idea why, the wind grew stronger and is really COLD~

We stopped at the road side again for photo taking~

As we were driving towards our next destination, we saw this really beautiful field with yellow flowers~

The owner of the field really smart to deco the field and attract tourist~

1000 won to go inside the field to take photos~

We very cheapskate~

Don't want to waste money to go in~

So we took picture along the pavement~

Even the tree have the same effect as my hair ~

After 1 hr of driving~ We have reached Mysterious Road~

The sky is already DARK when we reached~

The sunset REALLY FAST and early in Jeju~

Interesting abt this road is, liquid pour on the floorwill go uphill~

There are road sign to indicate the start and end of the amazing road~

We place the car towards the uphill direction and on Free gear~

By right the car should roll backwards, but it DID NOT~

It actually went up hill~ and the car stopped moving at the signage ~

Wanted to do some recording but somehow it does not show how interesting the road is~

The next destination~

Love Land~

Love land is almost just next to the mysterious road~

People who have difficulties locating mysterious road on the GPS [The numbers I got from the web and book seem to be wrong or cant be read by the GPS] can search Love Land~ 

Instead of turning left into love land carpark, just drive up straight and you can see the mysterious road signage on your left~

Its about 1-2 mins drive only~

Love land shows different type of position when loving your partners~

Visiting the toilet is also make me very shy~
